According to a new poll conducted by Israeli media, 67% of Israeli Jews oppose easing the illegal siege they enforce upon the people of the Gaza Strip.
Israel's Channel 7 (Hebrew) earlier today published the results of a poll on Israeli Jewish public opinion. The poll conducted was essentially asking Israeli Jews wether they were for or against easing the conditions inflicted upon Gaza, by lessening the restrictions upon the illegally besieged Gaza Strip.
Despite prominent figures making the conditions in Gaza clear - to a certain extent- Israelis still support the illegal siege pressed against its (Gaza's) people.
Israeli President, Reuven Rivlin, stated earlier this year that "Gaza is on the verge of collapse".
No action has been taken by the state of Israel to ease the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, in fact restrictions have only gotten stricter.
As of this recent poll, it seems that easing the siege has quite some opposition in Israel, let alone the prospect of ending it.
