TEHRAN:- A suicide bomber has set off an explosion outside a police station in the Iranian southern port town of Chabahar, killing at least three people and wounding many more, state television has reported.
"This morning a bomb inside a car exploded near a police station in Chabahar," an official told state television on Thursday.
"The suicide attacker set off the explosion after stopping at police headquarters in Chabahar."
"It was a suicide bomb attack," Iran's state news agency IRNA also reported.

Sistan-Baluchistan province, where the bombing hit, has long been a flashpoint, with Pakistan-based Baluchi separatists and armed group carrying out cross-border attacks, the AFP news agency reported.
