Bollywood magnum opus movie 'Padmavat' finally released on January 25th after so many hurdles and controversies on the film. Karni Sena, Kshtriya Mahasabha and some other organisations protest against release of the film. First day this movie collected only 19 Cr due to protests and less no of theaters release. But on day 2, this film recovered and performed well at box office. This film manages to collect more than Rs 50 crore in two days at box office.
When compared to day 1, protests on day 2 also very less, this improves collections at box office. Republic day holiday helps the movie to stand strong at box office. Also, the film increased theaters on second day when compared to first day.
Karni Sena also reduces protests against the movie, this time movie performance may be improved at box office. But, piracy may be effect the collections because we already know that a Facebook page live telecast this film.Premiere collections - 5 crore
