Iranian handball players have added another emphatic win to their unblemished record at the 2018 West Asian Women's Handball Championship in Jordaninfo-icon, defeating the host nation.

Shahid Chamran Larestsan team, which is representing the Islamic Republic at the continental sportsinfo-icon event, downed Jordan 28-15 in its third fixture of the regional tournament at Princess Sumaya Hall of al-Hussein Youth City in the Jordanian capital city of Amman.

 The Iranian handball team had hammered Iraqinfo-icon 43-8 in its opening match on February 15, and posted a 29-19 win over Lebanoninfo-icon the following day.

Shahid Chamran Larestsan squad is scheduled to face Syriainfo-icon in its last match on Wednesday.

The 2018 West Asian Women's Handball Championship started on February 15, and will run through February 21.

The six-day and league-format competition has brought together best female players from Iraq, the Islamic Republic of Iraninfo-icon, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Qatarinfo-icon.
