General Min Aung Hlaing, one of the chief members of the Junta, traveled to Israel in September 2015 in a weapons “shopping trip”. He met with the Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and military officials while visiting military bases and defense contractors: Elbit Systems and Elta Systems.
